OMG ten years older than me! That's OLD!!!!

ウィーランドのバーテンダーの像。高さは22cm、作られたのは1943年。カリフォルニア州サンホセのパシフィック・ブリューイング・モルティング会社（Pacific Brewing & Malting） はこのおじさん像ビールを１９４０年に初めて世に送りました。パシフィック・ブリューイングはこのビールボトルのネックに覆いかぶさるバーテンダーの帽子を被った笑顔浮かべる「ジョニー・ウィーランド」おじさんを、広告クラウンとして使用。ビールラベルはバーテンダーおじさんのエプロンに当たります。

Wieland's bartender statuette, 8¾" tall, and dated 1943. When Pacific Brewing & Malting (San Jose) introduced this chalk in June of 1940 they described their smiling "Johnny Wieland" as an advertising display where a crown forms the hat of the "little Bartender" who is slipped over the neck of a steinie bottle, with the label appearing to be his apron.
