#46 本物のバドワイザーは立ち上がってくれますか？パート3

バドワイザーがアメリカンビールなら、フリットやワッフルはアメリカン料理。

1876年にチェスケーブジェヨヴィツェでバドワイザービールを訪れた、ドイツの移民アドルフブッシュ覚えている（前回のブログにあります）？ 彼はセントルイスに戻り、バドワイザーと呼ばれるビールを作りました。なんて偶然。彼らは借りた名前でうまくやりましたが、1900年から1933年の酒禁止で経営は厳しくなりました。 

1936年に彼らは最初の缶ビールを作りました（店の壁の上に有ります！）。

2008年にベルギー/ブラジルのビールの巨大企業InBevに売却。私が1980年にバーを始めた時、大阪にある会社トーメンによって輸入されていました。キリンは1993年から2018年まで日本で作りました。今、InBevはアサヒビールと組んでいます。バドワイザー日本は正式社名です。

Budweiser as American as frites and waffles.

Remember yesterday I mentioned the German immigrant

Adolphus Busch, Who visited Budweiser Bier in České Budějovice in 1876. Guess what? He went back to St. Louis and started making a beer called Budweiser. 

What a coincidence. They did well with the borrowed name but hit a bump with prohibition 1900-1933. 

In 1936 they made the first caned beer. On the Wall! In 2008 they were sold to InBev. A Belgium-Brazil beer monolith. Maybe I should have said　American as frites and chorizo. When I started the bar in 1980 the beer was imported by Tomen a company in Osaka. Kirin made it from 1993 to 2018. Now InBev is in bed with Asahi so who knows. They are officially Budweiser Japan. 

In tomorrow's story, the two Budweisers duke it out in courts all over the world.
