#25 Fish Tail Ale's Bitter End IPA

In the early 1990's I was going ahead with my plan to make Ezo Beer in the States. I invested $10,000 in Olympia Wa. Fish Tale Ale's. At the time the location was an Earl Scheib Paint & Body shop, so it was a leap of faith. When I was ready to brew my first batch I was told they didn't have capacity.

Long Story short I was introduced to Rouge drove straight there and met Dennis (#1) and Jack Joyce. I never looked back. My relationship with Rogue will be 30 years in a while. Fish Tale went bankrupt in 2019.  So Fish Tail Ale's BITTER END IPA sums it up Pretty well.  What's weird is the label is pre-Covid but it looks like the guy has his mask on his chin so he can drink his beer.

P.S. You can't get Fish Tail Ale but you can still get your car painted at Earl Scheib. For $29.90 a pop at $10,000 I could have got 333 cars painted.
